Join the Week 1 Team

The time is almost here. The Spiritual Practice of Good Actions will be published in September. The Pocket Mensch is designed to make it easier to keep up with your Mussar Practice. The campaign to raise money to build the Pocket Mensch is almost ready to start.

Just two more things to do.

  1. Get a better graphic.
  2. Build a launch list of early supporters.

To be completely transparent, to raise 50K we need a team of 100 donors ready to contribute a total of $10K in the first week.

We are already 50% of the way there, with more support coming in every day

If you are on this page, you are one of the people with an opportunity to join the Week 1 Team

In addition to the thank you gifts on the Jewcer.com campaign, there are special thank you gifts for the Week 1 Team.

Anyone who makes an early pledge and contributes will be listed on a special thank you page on AmericanMussar.com

For contributing $100 or more, you’ll be an Angel Supporter

Angel Supporters will

  • Receive a copy of The Spiritual Practice of Good Actions when it is published in September
  • Be listed on the special Thank You page on AmericanMussar.com

For a contribution of $180 or more, you’ll be an Angel Sponsor.

Angel Sponsors will

  • Receive a signed copy of The Spiritual Practice of Good Actions
  • Be listed as on the Thank You page on AmericanMussar.com as an Angel Sponsor.
  • Have the option to make the donation in honor or in memory of someone

For a contribution of $500 or more, you’ll be an Angel Mensch.

Angel Mensches will

  • Receive a signed copy of The Spiritual Practice of Good Actions
  • Be listed as on the Thank You page as an Angel Mensch
  • Have the option to make the donation in honor or in memory of someone
  • Be included in the acknowledgements section of the book.

Unless you’ve helped with the book, the only way to be mentioned in the acknowledgements of  The Spiritual Practice of Good Actions is to be an Angel Mensch or The Community Mensch.

For a contribution of $1800 or more, one person will be the Community Mensch

The Community Mensch will

  • Pick the first philanthropy to receive 10% of the the author’s royalty payments from the sale of The Spiritual Practice for Good Actions
  • Be listed at the top of the Thank you page on AmericanMussar.com as The Community Mensch
  • Be included included in the acknowledgements section of the book as The Community Mensch
  • Receive all of the other benefits of being an Angel Mensch, including making the donation in honor or memory of someone, and receiving a signed copy of the book.

Of course anonymous donations are fine at any level.

In addition, the entire Week 1 team is also eligible for the regular thank you gifts that will be listed on Jewcer.com/pocketmensch

Please email Greg@americanmussar.com with the level of your pledge. We’ll send you two emails – one letting you know the launch date, and another on that date to remind you to go make your contribution.

If we come together as a community, we’ll raise this money really quickly and put the Pocket Mensch into development.
